The Mercedes strategist showed how crap he is today. He should follow Bottas out of the door l think. To make bad call twice is unforgiveable

Either way I think Masi's position is untenable now.

They did what they needed to do to finish the race. Because that is what F1 is supposed to be about "racing", not finishing behind a safety car.

Mercedes gambled by not pitting Hamilton at the different opportunities they had. Mercedes's luck ended when Latifi crashed.

Pls explain what was done wrong in your opinion, and what rules thet apply here?

We wait to see this saga play out. To Masi, Horner says, we only need one lap and he provided the lap. The thing has a funny feeling about it.

If you leave lapped cars to unlap themselves you must leave them all unlap, not just the ones required to orchestrate a finish.

We are all for that, but it must be fair and not appear to be manufactured. I am happy for Verstappen, he gave it his all and drove some magnificent races this season.

Unfortunately, this decision of Masi has cast a shadow on what should have been a magnificent title win. Now it appears manufactured to give Redbull the chance.

Going off the track and gaining a place is a 5 second penalty.
Hamilton cut the corner, gained a place but did not get a penalty.
Thus, the rules were not followed.

I can agree with the decision not to give a penalty, but it was once again "à la tête du client" stewarding. But it's been like that all year now.

Max torpedo'd in and pushed him wide. When you overtake the rules require you give a car's width. Max didn't give Hamilton a cars width, and forced him to go wide. He was entitled to keep the place. You can't force a car off the track and expect to gain a position.

Well no, hamilton also had the chance to pit then. It was not luck, it was bad strategy from mercedes.
