    I don't think many of the R5 cars are carrying onboard cameras. Equally I wonder from a production standpoint if they need to leave one stage so that people or equipment (helis etc) can head to the next test.

    Also, I think it's a policy that only WRC official can publish footage from the WRC rallies, so if for instance Rovanperä has an onboard camera, he cannot publish the footage on his youtube channel.

    For sure every car has onboard camera. He probably means they don't have equipment to transmit video signal live.

    But still, stage 10 with roadside cameras, they could easily show many more cars, instead of having a 2hr studio-broadcast, with heli and onboard of Ogier on a road section.

    Show 15-25 more cars, and then cut to studio, they would still have much time for all sorts of interviews, analyzing etc.
