I have not read these books, but in terms of match action, I reguarly have watched all the World Cup films and match highlights. I know quite a bit from 1954-now, and I have read books on 30-50.
I would say my knowledge on these world cups is above the average man in the street despite 98 being the first world cup I remember.I still exist and still find the forum occasionally. Busy busy
