So, Chardonnet is 2 minutes off the lead in WRC2 after the first leg. I know it doesn't really matter, but Peugeot's debut on an international event made a bigger impact.

I actually meant the Acropolis as the 208's international debut. It was right on the pace and won it's first international event. I know Chardonnet maybe isn't on the same level as Abbring and Breen but Peugeot's debut had a bit more attention and excitement (which automatically leads to the ERC vs. WRC2 discussion).

That's how it goes. Very few people are interested in sub-categories. Even if Acropolis was not WRC it's MUUUCH more to win it overall than to win ANY WRC2 event.

I don't know exactly where I can talk about it, but a 208 Proto built in Poland will go in Madagascar. After Spain, a new country for these Proto.

208 Proto is based on the 208 chassis with Mitsubishi Evo X drivetrain, there are also Polo proto and i20 proto all based on the same concept and built by Dytko Sport in Poland.

A bit of a tough start for Kalle. He qualified 16th out of the 19 cars, but in saying that he was basically just over one second behind the pole sitter. The cars are super close in performance. Pole...
