New qualifying format
What do you think of the new "qualify on Saturday, set your position on Sunday" format? My initial reaction is that it is a reasonable approach to creating entertainment with only 33 or so entrants.

Re: New qualifying format
In my view this is more lipstick on a pig. Fix the pig.
Fuel allotment = X
Car Width = X
Car length = X
Car weight w/o driver = X
Tire size = X
ANY engine
fuel cell size unlimited
no wing restrictions
Go racing!Don't waste your time having a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent

Re: New qualifying format
Agree with the exception of fuel cell size. That's a safety consideration since these cars race on high speed ovals. Different from the F1 formula.

Re: New qualifying format
We're stuck with the pig for now, so I'm hoping this qualifying approach -- and the quality of the drivers -- will help attract some more eyeballs. More eyeballs = more money = the end of spec racing. At least that's my hope.

There is plenty other and more important stuff that needs fixing before destruction of traditional culture. Creation of new tradition of destroying traditions I guess.
Keep it fast, keep it real!!!

We are in the end of 2025 and people still "living" in 1980. Who are jailled in 80s 90s memory never will live the moment. We have a bloody performant cars since 2017 and people every day saying that...
