Schumacher to drive the Nordschleife
Schumacher gets F1 run at Nordschleife - GPUpdate.net
Hope he actually goes close to 100% and Mercedes provide decent footage, unlike the Heidfeld run!I am anaspeptic, pharismotic, even compunctuous to have caused you such pericombobulation.

I doubt he will go anywhere near 100% full throttle as the circuit is not suitable for modern day F1 cars with stiff unforgiving suspension. Plus the safety barriers are not up to F1 spec and aren't likely to be implemented over the 13 mile course for this type of event. I'm sure he'll blast away in places but it'll be a safe conservative lap I'm sure.

He can't go anywhere near 100%, else he'd be dead before even getting to Schwedenkreuz. Should he somehow get past that the car would desert him on the run-up to Schwalbenschwanz. The Nordschleife gives the word bumpy a bad name and a modern day F1 car even on maximum ride height is too low to give it wellies in most places.
And that's not even counting that Schumacher has practically no experience driving on the Nordschleife. That thing is over 10 miles long with over 100 corners. You can't figure that thing out in a day like a tilke-drome. I've been doing about 400 laps - give or take 20 - during the open weekends in the last 5 years, but I still get caught out by bumps I never encountered before.
He'll do a safety run, but due to an F1 car's sheer speed it will still look like the speed of sound to the casual observer. I'm most keen to see how he handles the exit of Karussell. You have your hands full keeping a mildly riced Golf pointing in the right direction on that nasty bump. I'm looking forward to Herr Schumacher manhandling his Merc over that thingкак могу я знать что я думаю, пока не слушал что я говорю

Schumacher has driven Nordscleife, see this: http://youtu.be/lrXEKIZ4N5s
The game didnt last long with Ingram's off on SS8. :( Pryce, Evans and Williams also failing to finish left the win to Cronin. Great for him and keeping him in the series this year. Creighton...
