you are refering to the sentence: ""It’s a week into stage one of the build of the latest version of the off road racing Imperial Toyota Hilux pickup in which Giniel de Villiers and Dirk von Zitzewitz will aim to win the Dakar Rally in South America in the next three years"" ?
I thing it only points out that De Villiers is the high profile front man of the Dakar assaultR.I.P. all WRC heroes

I was referring to "Toyota Motorsport’s two-car team that will contest the 2013 Dakar Rally [...] will also include an uprated version of the 2012 Hilux for [...] Duncan Vos [...] and Rob Howie".

Are Overdrive doing some development work on the Hilux? Or will they race the 2012 version?

Probably add to that list Brazilian Guilherme Spinelli, with the Mitsubishi Racing Lancer.
I know he isn't a contender for the win, but for sure he will be in the Top 10...

There will be six Minis and three (or four) BMWs from X-raid, according to Sven Quandt. Minis will be driven by Peterhansel, Roma, Holowczyc, Novitskiy, Al-Mutawei (2012 World Cup winner) and possibly by Dos Santos. That would leave BMWs to Terranova, Garafulic and one (or two) another driver.
Ok, argue i'm wrong then. Just don't like this... Sent fra min SM-S901B via Tapatalk
