I read that the UK is expected to pick up 4th place in total medals! Even as the Host that would impress the hell out of me.

We finished 4th in the medals table at Beijing - it's a high target for our team to live up to.

Last night I sat down to watch the start of the opening ceremony, resolving to go and do something else when I got bored with it. I watched it right to the end! Full marks to the producers. (BBC commentary could have been better but that's a topic for another thread)Duncan Rollo

I think he is done as a competitive qualifyer. His race pace isn't that bad and not too far off Leclerc's, but his bad starting positions are killing him. And that is pretty much a Lewis problem, not...
