I have a canon powershot camera and when I took the SD card out and put it in a Samgsung camera and took a picture, the picture taken on the samsung camera was in a new number file.

When I used the Canon camera again it created ANOTHER new folder, and it does not continue to number the images from the ones taken before I put the SD card into the Samgsung.

Is there anyway to get the Canon camera back to the original numbering system without completley resetting/deleting everything on the SD card?
