Whats wrong with 1998 calendar, every round was a classic if not a modern classic event? I dont think anyone strongly disliked any of the rounds as most countries had good rally heritage and interest. OK, I put it this way, I would be very happy to spectate at any of the rally events listed below, if you said to me I can go to Rally Jordan or something I would be less enthusiastic. I dont care about Markets or anything I think the calendar below are the rally which have formed the WRC in last 15 or 20 years and I think it is sad that some have been dropped. I also know some new rounds like Germany are good yes but below for me is what in my mind represent the world rally championship.
Round 1 Monte Carlo
Round 2 Sweden
Round 3 Safari
Round 4 Portugal
Round 5 Catalunya
Round 6 Corsica
Round 7 Argentina
Round 8 Acropolis
Round 9 New Zealand
Round 10 Finland
Rould 11 San remo
Round 12 Australia
Round 13 RAC GB

I'd have a rally in Romania, if only so that the cars could take on the Transfagarasan highway.
