The countdown for the 2012 Jänner Rallye just begun
With Rallye Club Mühlviertel being the host of the 29th Jänner-Rallye, the team has been working hard for the upcoming event. It is part of the Austrian and Czech National Championship but also a European Championship race. There are seven weeks to go for the team to get it all set up for this event.
Ferdinand Staber, the head of organization, is optimistic despite the amount of tasks to fulfill: “We have started early enough to be prepared for all the details when it comes to planning such an event. Therefore we were able to start working as early as possible. Quite a lot of members of RC Mühlviertel were introduced to the concept of organization. Concerning the starter field of the race we can say that there are many interesting requests and teams can submit their request until 11th November.”
The current focus is on two topics. A lot of hotel reservations have been made recently and people are already having a hard time finding available accommodation. On the other hand there is plenty of good feedback from fans about the “Rallyepass”. For only 25 Euro buyers have free access to all the areas of the event and you take part in the lottery with really attractive prizes. To order your personal “Rallypass” simply go to the website 29. Internationale Jännerrallye, 5. - 7. Jänner 2012 Region Mühlviertel -*Home.
As mentioned earlier the 29th Jänner-Rallye is also the first of eight runs in Austrian National Championship as well as the starting signal for the Czech Rally Championship.
More information about the upcoming January-Rallye 2012 including a substantial Rallye-Guide can be found on the website 29. Internationale Jännerrallye, 5. - 7. Jänner 2012 Region Mühlviertel -*Home.

I don´t understand, why there are two big events in Bulgaria- Rally Bulgaria in June in ERC and rally Sliven in September in IRC. (and they are nearly the same, same surface) Why they didn´t merge it somehow? This is bad for all.
Visit South Moravia. It is the real paradise

Why not? They have different organizers who can make agreement with any championship they want (ERC and IRC have different promoter and organizer). That's common thing to have different events for big championships in one country (Acores/Portugal, Canarias/Catalunya, Alsace/Corse/Monte Carlo).

If I correctly understand the news on Luca Betti's website, he will compete in Janner Rally with Pug 207 S2000 from Racing Lions and then he will drive all the remaing rounds of the ERC - Italy, Croatia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Turkey, Portugal, Czech Republic, Spain, Poland, France and Switzerland. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Subito al via l’Europeo di Luca Betti. Il pilota italiano questo week end in Austria.*-*Luca Betti Official Website
The other news from ERC is that European Champion from 1997 is currently leading the Dakar Rallyhttp://www.rallymadness.prv.pl - rally photos and movies!

Thank you for reasonable argument. Calling people names is really unnecessary though. Now you speak about 2027 rules but we know little about what they are working on for 2027. What if they come...
