Looks like Pocono has finally put up a catch fence all the way around.

Nice win, and an interesting race from the point of view that no one would have picked Kes even as of the standing at the time of the Red Flag for rain. He was 24th then.....
Pocono is a thinking man's race track. You see guys trying to find a way to be fast coming out of 3, making it work in 1 and 2, then you add in fuel mileage strategies and the always changing weather. IT may not always be doorhandle to doorhandle racing (although Jimmie and Kurt did some of that on the last lap) but the guy on the pit box is earning his money at this place...."Water for my horses, beer for my men and mud for my turtle".

It has its critics but it deserves 2 Cup dates IMO. Better Pocono than Kansas...The world according to Taki Inoue: https://mobile.twitter.com/takiinoue/st ... 7249326080

Pocono has just announced that the two races will each be shortened 100 miles next year. Sounds good to me, it will make them more exciting.

400 miles is just right for these races.

Unbelievable that no one hasn’t binned it considering the last two years but then again the itinerary is almost the same
