It has a lot to do with that. Event timetable is made to suit TV schedule which is made months before. Basically a time between two runs of same stage is given by TV and You can't make it longer. I don't know how much it could affect particular stages but for sure it may be a reason.

Yeah probably but that is just bollocks.....Limit the number of entry's because of Eurosport seems ridiculous as they only show 20 crews and no more than that.

You have two options than. You can either run live stage at given time or run the stage without TV broadcast

Well I remember that when Monte was in WRC the maximum number of entries was something like 60 (allowed). So, I was quite surprised by the number over hundred. More cars makes the event quite hard to organize (size of Service, Park ferme etc.).

Looks like Proton will do Monte, and Cave has also sent an entry in as a privateer.

I am new at the forum & I am searching for some infos for the Rally Monte Carlo 2011. My team would like to participate , I have already sent some mails with the entry form etc but noone answered me yet.
Please , does anybody from here knows the procedure I should follow?

It isnt too late, I think they will be choosing at deadline of entries. I am sure, that if somebody like Ogier or Hirvonen will send entry form at last day, they wont say him no...
