He ended up on par with Mads Østberg in the 2008 chamoionship with 174 points each, but Østberg became champion due to a miscalculation by Andreas and codriver Ole Floene in the last round Rally Hedmarken. They thought that 3rd place and level points would be enough to secure the championship, but they didn`t read the regulations closely enough and missed the fine print. On level points the driver winning the last round would be crowned champion, and therefore Mads won the title instead of Andreas.

Thanks.
Anyone know what rally this is from? http://www.origo.no/-/percolator/jus...=172757&page=3
And also, Andreas didn't start Hedmarken in 2009 if I remember correctly?

^ Photo is from Numedalsrally.
Another question for the experts - did Andreas take part in Rally Trondelag in 2006 as a co-driver in a Subaru? I don't remember it but in my searching stumbled across a mention of Tor Larsen being co-driven by AM at this rally...

He won the Coracle Stages in the UK in 2006 driving a Ford Focus WRC and the Plains Rally. He also finished second on the Swansea Bay Rally that year as well.

And thanks Steve. I remember going to the Swansea Bay Rally and it was brilliant viewing in my opinion.
Quite a head start for Neuville then compared to Tänak regarding next year. Tested the 2025 machine before CER and now this.
