    An Endurance F1 Race?

what would you guys think of an endurance F1 race? Sought of like the Bathurst 1000, where the two drivers from the team would team up together to race. Maybe they could have it at the European Grand Prix, ithink it would be a great idea to mix things up a bit, your thoughts.

sharing cars is not new in F1, some did in the 50s for various reasons. I can see why it would be interesting, the no refuelling rule would not apply for this race obviously.....

but for this one race each team would have to 4 drivers for two cars, and everything just gets pointlessly complicated.

To me, sharing cars and endurance racing is for GTs and Sports Cars, not F1. Thats just my opinion
Congratulations Sebastian Vettel. Champion of the season of seasons.

Some of the races are enough of an endurance test already. For us viewers anyway...

Regardless of anything else, it's simply impractical to do it with a single-seater compared to a touring or sports car, where to a certain extent one size fits all. And with F1 races at two hours' duration anyway, there are certain series that already think that's an endurance length (note to M. Ratel: it isn't).

First of all if this happened now and previous years you'd get 11/12 cars racing making wholly impractical to watch.

Endurance racing - egos are more useless when you're driving the same exact car as your team mates.

F1 - you have to be a selfish so and so to succeed. It should be kept that way IMHO. More fun seeing egos bouncing around getting bruised and battered week in week out.

I'd rather see every race on the schedule 10 laps longer than have a single enduro.

    Emphatically NO!

I would like a return to the non-championship events which were around half the length of a grand prix and one car per team entered.

Race of Champions at Brands Hatch and Daily Express race at Silverstone.... sigh!

I do agree with an above comment that rather make the grands prix 10 laps longer.
