How many safety cars were there?
I had to do a 24hr shift over the weekend, getting home just in time to watch the GP, but was half asleep.
So I was confused when in a post race interview with Jenson Button on the BBC, he was asked about the two safety cars. He looked puzzeled and said "were their 2 safety cars?" Now I've watched the replay, but I can't see it, anyone else? or am I just going mad

This is a trick question, right?? OK, I'll try "three", a Merc, a Toyota and a Datsun.
When in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout

Apparently Renault had scheduled 2 in the pre-race briefing but hadn't realised Piquet wasn't driving for them any more.

One real safety car, one "phantom" safety car. Several teams pitted to cover themselves in case of a safety car after Webber's crash, but it didn't appear.
Or the smart-arse answer: if it had appeared for the second time it would still have been the same safety car, so it's one anywayhttps://wordpress.com/stats/insights/stugrovesf1.wordpress.com

Two and a half years and 114 Pages all for nothing. The bottom line is that the current Teams / Manufacturers have all the power and no new ones are interested, thus the status quo prevails.
