Simon Crafar Enduro accident
Heard an interview on Radio Live NZ with Simon Crafar from hospital in Barcelona where he is recovering from a really bad cycling accident in Romania. His bike was hit by a car and he sustained serious injuries. He was initially operated on in Romania and is now carrying 8 5cm screws and 2 rods. It seems that his recovery will be a long one, but when asked if he would ride again, he said "of course I will". It seems he had some good luck in that someone he had recently ridden with went to the scene with his helicopter and they were able to get him to hospital reasonably quickly. Thinking of you Simon and wishing you a good recovery.
Sorry, not sure if that was bicycle or motorcycle.

Good luck to him on a speedy recovery. Has a busted vertebrae I think. Very nasty.

They can nominate Tanak Neuville Lappi for points and do not risk Mikkelsen and just let him go for "practice"
