No rallies anymore for Peugeot-Sport Spain in 2009 ???
Hi,
According to http://www.sportmotores.es Peugeot-Sport Spain is aiming to run a 207 Cup on circuit next year...but it looks like the project would REPLACE their presence as officials in rally world...
I hope I misunderstood the article

It seems true.
There is also a rumour that Luis Monzon will buy the cars to run a private team next year.

Yeah...
The principle to me is that there are still 207 S2000s in spanish rallies next year(even as non official)

Yesterday november 1st, was held at Valencia the official presentation of the 2009 "Copa 207"...but I can't read anywhere if Peugeot Spain officially gets out of rally or not

Rally2 must stay separated from the main WRC manufacturer competition. That's the only way to keep them affordable, level and privateer friendly. The sport can not afford to destroy Rally2 class and...
