Another event to look forward too!!!

Don't tell me you'd rate Bernd Casier higher than Fast Freddy on this event !!! :

Hmmm Tom, that's a hard one. I think Casier in raw speed is slower than Loix, but he is still growing so he might surprise. Of course a lot depends on the Polo. I remember in Ypres it has a problem of gear ratio, that it is too short, so if San Remo doesn't have to much long straight lines, it might perform well.
What I meant about Loix is that I don't think he will be fighting for victory, but of course we will have to wait and see, top 5 should be possible of course.

Does anybody have the gps-coordinates of the start and finish-places of the stages. If you do can you send them to me, so that i can prepare the stages in Google Earth. Thanks in advance.

Cool, they keep it as quiet as ever!

Good news for the spectators and good for Skoda.

In Ypres, the topspeed from Casier was 171 km/h, but now it is 178 km/h. The Polo is now not slower in topspeed than the other S2000's. I don't think Loix will have a good result in Sanremo, even a top 5 is probably not possible with all the strong Italians and Vouilloz. Don't forget that the French rider was on the podium last year. Casier will be even more struggling and after his accident in Barum, he must absolutely finish now.

Wim_Impreza: I don't see any sense in using medium gearbox on twisty Sanremo. They used medium on Barum as first time because Barum is very fast rally. Sanremo is totaly different and top speed is good for nothing there.
