Is this a new racetrack in Beijing?

    http://maps.google.com/maps?t=k&z=18...shan+Velodrome)

It sure does look like one. What do you think?

It seems to be about 5 km long, but most of it is pretty twisty.

How intriguingly hillarious. It seems that the forums don't include the bracket at the end of the link I gave, which appears to be necessary. I'll try again:

    http://maps.google.com/maps?t=k&z=18...han+Velodrome)

    That should work better.

    OK, NOW it makes sense!

(However, the twisty bits on the satellite photo did make an interesting shape for a racetrack! Maybe you've stumbled upon Bernie's location for the new USGP???)

Don't you realise that this is not a racetrack, not for cars? It was used in Beijing'08 for Mountain Bike races, next to the Laoshan Velodrome (indoor bike races)....
    Ayrton, still missing you

Mountain bike races take place on a mountain not tarmac roads The mountain bike course was in the area within the roads that seem to make the track

That area seems like public roads to me you can see cars moving on them
I got my motorcycle jacket, but I'm walking all the time...

It seems little complicated track, with lot of turnings and bendings.
