SS7 is stopped because of the crash on the road. Nobody wounded, but the car blocked the road. Evgeny Vertunov (www.vertunov.com) broke the engine with big stone (out of the rally), also on this stage Alexander Gavrilov (http://gavrilov.rallyrus.spb.ru/index.php), also one of Russian quick pilots, destroyed front suspension on his Subaru. We are waiting for futher information.

I meant both drivers having less experience than Vouilloz on fast gravel events are though in front of him
Of course I know Loix is on another level than Tirabassi :

Loix has a lot more experience on fast gravel than Vouilloz (he did some WRC seasons), although he not a specialist.
Kopecky, Basso and Alen are showing better pace than the Kronos pugs (except Hanninen of course)!Post your own splits on the net: find RallyStopwatch on the Google Play Store.

Excuse me, friends. May I put some news?
Triumph and disasters of Russian favorites …
Evgeny Novikov has continued his ascent at the famous “Topolki” special stage - he credited to his account his first victory (and first “Russian” victory) at the special stages of ”Rally Russia-2008” and at the same time ascended to the second line of the general Protocol. Andrey Zhigunov and Boris Zimin ceased the struggle while Alexander Zheludov fell far back because of a punctured wheel …

Breaking news: SS-7 stopped but …
According to the news from the track because of an accident with one of cars in the middle of the channel (the crew didn’t suffer but the car blocked the road) the SS-7 “Taiga” has been stopped and opened only in a road mode.

So, the first stage of this last day is about to start in 5 minutes. Let's see what happens on this final day of Rally Russia, i still find it a strange rally with a very strange timing, almost as strange as San Remo Rally . But anyhow, let's see if punctures will be there again or will Hanninen just be cruising to victory on his first event in S2000 car?
