Granite City Rally 2008 (Pics)
Really enjoyed my trip to the North East. Had a visit to the VIP/Press day on Friday then SS1 and SS4 on Saturday before heading home.
Many cogratulations to Philip Morrow/Daniel Barritt on the win and David Bogie/Kevin Rae for maximum Scottish Championship points.
Here are a few pics of the action...
Philip Morrow (at VIP Day)

Dave Weston

David Bogie

Donnie MacDonald (at VIP Day)

Stevie Brown (at VIP Day)

Galleries from both days are now on our website. The Photographer previously known as Ecosse Pix!

And here's Sandy Arbuthnott's car after he went out for "one last shot" on the press stage

No,quite a busy day for me,he had no intercom on the first two and complaining of no bite with the brakes all day (wrong pads )then she stopped half a mile from the end of the last stage for 90secs after a hard landing and for some reason the wheel studs kept slackening all day so we had to chase as well as service, but all good fun.Hope the head gets better soon, must be somthing about us Colin's and getting hit by stones when rallying

My dad got whacked by a rock as well and has a proper black eye, whereas I prefer to whack myself with the camera!

Not safe this rallying lark, is it?

I got a stone in the stomach at the Somerset Stages on Saturday. Was low down on the inside of a fast corner. Bloody well hurt too.
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Andreas Mikkelsen who started as a zero-car was 1.35 min faster than Morrow.

Isn´t 2027 something like Rally2 in old Group B format?
