all it is, a Hendrick motorsports car, Jr doesn't build anything, unlike KHI, where they actually build the cars and Chassis' for 2 trucks and 2 cars.

guess Jooyner doesn't want to build up from scratch, he just wants the cars handed to him

I think it was a smart move to combine forces rather than compete with each other.

The object is to have a winning organization. Jr will have one.

JR Motorsports already builds cars in their own shop with the Gee boys (his uncles) doing the work. Hendrick's Nationwide Series cars and staff are going to Dale Jr's shop. This is a reunification of sorts, since the 1983 Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series had a Hendrick and Gee-owned car power Dale Snr to a victory at LMS.

    Exclamation

Dale Jr's Chance2 Busch team, (now JR MotorSports) "built" Busch cars ...
Dale Jr bought some prefab rolling Busch Series chassis with ...
his staff hanging the sheet-metal & installing DEI engines ...
at least now the engine supplier has changed to Hendrick MotorSports.
(Most likely Hendrick will also now supply the chassis for JRMS.)

The interesting thing about Chance2 was that it was supposed to be Dale Jr.'s opportunity to show Teresa that he was ready for some management role at DEI. So under his direction, they won two Busch championships and then disbanded the team.

So I'd like to know what more he needed to do for her that he didn't do with 2 Busch championships. Well, we all know how it eventually played out but I always thought that whole deal was strange.
