Rest in Peace for all those who were onboard.....Lets please not forget that 4 people aren't among us anymore. Colin was special because he offered us something we love and share as a passion.

Steve Ryder just mentioned the sad news on ITV's F1 coverage at Spa. The whole of the world of motorsport is in shock.

This is a very sad day.
To all of his family, I wish to express my deepest sorrow for this tragic loss.
On another sad level:-
Codemasters need to take stock too, on a side issue. On returning home tonight was an email asking me to purchase Collin McRae DIRT. Very inappropriate indeed.
Please turn your email server off at this point in time.Happiness is using the side windows more than the windscreen
In reply to being asked what 240Kph on Watagans Road was like:-
\"Wait till I check my pants, I didn\'t know whether to sh#t myself or orgasm!!!\"

I am devasted with this news. Motorsport has lost a Legend and Scotland a National Hero. I was lucky enough to meet him a few times and sat with him on test day only three weeks ago in his beloved MKII Escort . This in car video is probably one of the last ever filmed :-( so sad.

Colin McRae Legend In Car Video
I am devasted by the news I have been up most of the night and finding it hard to come to terms with this . I was lucky enough to met him on several occasions and only three weeks ago spent the day with him and his father Jimmy at a test day.
I sat with him in his beloved MKII Escort that day the incar video I will treasure forever. This is probably one of the last in car videos of the great man in action.

Strathclyde have just released the names of those that they believe were in the helicopter when it crashed. Colin McRae, 39, his son Johnny, 5, his friend Ben Porcelli, 6, and family friend Graeme Duncan, 37, were all thought to be on board. This information is on bbc website.
RIP
