Can they? Whats the point of the kits then?
I got pessimist without reason? Can Paddon enter his 2x ERC champ car and beat those underdeveloped CorollasISH WRC2027?
If the answer is "YES" regarding 'performance levels" then Im happy.

Indeed, but that's just separate wins and not whole championship. Most of Rally2 drivers/teams can't afford all 14 rounds, so I really don't see a point in their logic. Do they want to increase numbers for each rallies or championship with that rule?

Well according to FIA WRC27 car is somehow superior and is miles ahead of Rally2 stock car, so that's why they introduced kit thing to bring it more closer. But Toyota his struggling to match the performance of stock Rally2 car, so no logic here at all.

Ok, let's be it, but again why ruin everything with 14 rounds rule? Whoever wants to fight for title, he should commit like this, having kit or no. And then why handicap lower class drivers/teams and not Ogier then? For comparision. Stupid rulemakers

Toyota is very much likely lying / sandbagging to not get BoP'ed or to hurt their Rally2 sales. I expect the end result miles ahead of the Rally2 in general (let's see what we hear now, since hurting Rally2 sales is less of a concern now due to still separate championships for all Rally2 cars).

To the Rally2 competing: As far as I understand, and it's really not easy to understand, the answer is no. They will still all be in their own WRC2 championship. Maybe we see the odd Rally2 placed better than a Toyota when bad things happen to said Toyota, but that's it

Remember what i said about corruption some weeks ago, even more obvious now. You can't have someone with economical interest make the rules.

i really don't get the problem here.

    2026.
wrc championship: run with rally1, team with minimum 2 cars for every round.
WRC2 championship: run with rally2, no other restriction (but scoring in max 6-7 events).
singular races: everyone is up for the overall win

    2027.
wrc championship: run with rally1 (new reg27) and rally2 kit, team with minimum 2 cars for every round.
WRC2 championship: run with rally2, no other restriction (but scoring in max 6-7 events).
singular races: everyone is up for the overall win

This rule is only for the constructors championship and it hasn't changed in 30 years and was never suggested was going to change. Driver and Codriver championships are not affected.
