If this continues the current formula of Rally1 will run until ‘28 (like when they did the U-Turn on hybrids back in ‘24), I really do wish they’d go back to basics and we’d have a DS3/Fiesta line-up, not as thrilling as current Rally1s or previous WRC ‘17 cars but still cool enough to watch both on the stages and on tv and they ‘only’ used to cost €500,000 which is still more(?) than half of the price that they are now.

OK but what cars are rallying in ERC 2035? And why would you get to hijack stage rallying into an exclusively historic sport?

WRC could die trying to survive but going the historic way is outright irrational.
