TGR WRT Customer Racing
Our Rally2 test team recently headed to Donegal, Ireland, for four days of development testing on some of rallying's most demanding asphalt roads.
With the goal of improving performance on bumpy asphalt, this was the first time a manufacturer has conducted an official development test in Ireland. At the wheel were Juho Hänninen and Kris Meeke, who has extensive knowledge of what's required on these roads.
The work was focused around damper and geometry development: key to performance on this type of surface.

Think Citroen Sport would beg to differ that TGR are the first manufacturer to use Ireland for development testing although probably the first with a Rally 2 car...

Either way, it shows the thoroughness of TGR development work to make a car ready for all conditions.
I posted this here as it may be useful for the Barum Rally which is also bumpy asphalt. The Skoda is the main opposition there and this year Toyota drivers should now benefit from this testing.

So that’s what Tänak meant then when he said he discussed with Aava but there weren’t good options meaning Ogier is in the start
