the whole "we need a drive to survive thing to grow like f1" is so weird. wrc did this one, which is kinda cool... for us.
motogp had one, which their fans loved. v8sc had one, endurogp had one, formula e keeps trying too, pro4s tried too.... but nobody will ever reach dts simply because its f1.
i found out that theres one of those even for some kids doing go karts in the UK haha weird times... https://youtu.be/FbbEDlwJawg?si=wUbu0QkqKqx05r06

Drive to Survive got super lucky with the whole world coming to a halt in 2020. Without the pandemic I don't think it would had blown up as much as it did.
The behind the scenes things are always interesting. I still remember watching the one with Subaru WRT like 20 years ago. But it's not an easy thing to produce with rallying spread over a vast area compared to F1 where everything happens on less than 10 square kilometers during the weekend. And the whole circuit is covered with cameras.Never stop dreaming because one day it might happen.

I like More than machines. Season 2 was better having all 3 teams featured. Kinda the only thing that kissed was Tanak himself. Him retiring from sport was such a huge blow at least something should be covered. I think if those huge stories will be covered in future it would be even better. That show easily fill the gap between off season time.

Really? Funny thing I always kinda saw Tanak in Subaru (if they would ever come back by the time he was/would be active)
