Don't be sorry. It was very interesting to read your post. And Vaher's drive was very impressive. Shame about the penalty. Good luck to him!

I'm surprised that the first round of the Portuguese championship was won by some Japanese driver, that I have never heard about

All these Challenge programmes from Toyota has very strange schedules from beginning. Never did proper championship, but mixture of strangely chosen events. And I think that is one of the reasons why this programme is not so much successful...

Nice to see Alexey Lukyanuk back in a WRC event. He's won Rally Islas Canarias several times, so it'll be interesting to see how he compares to the current WRC2 guys.

After 2 punctures Lukyanuk managed to finish only 21st in WRC2, 22 minutes behind the winner.

Another impressive result for Jaspar Vaher. He wins Rallye Ciudad de Pozoblanco in Spain:

Yeah finally his first win of the season but seems the competition was very weak.

Maybe Spanish guys here can comment more

Impressive result? He has beaten nobody, only his japanese teammates. He should do bigger rallies with better competition. And do full championship, not only some random starts. This style of programme is for me one of the biggest mistakes in that Toyota programmes...

Cmon, it’s his first year with rally2 machine and you expect him to do full championship right away?

And Finnish championship isn’t better competition?

Toyota has said that this year is purely to get the experience for him. Nothing else

Last year Jasper was fighting with Calle Carlberg in Junior ERC. This year Calle is doing JWRC with Rally3 and ERC with Rally2. And Jasper? Random events...
