Last sentence made me try to think it over; what happened and why?

At first, I´d say Toyota team (read Juha K) should have given Oliver some good advices before going into last day of competition. Telling him not to go flat out, just to hold on to his 2nd position. Did they do that or let him just ride alone?

Secondly some thoughts of tyre choice. Needing 4 softs for PS, where did he put his 2 hard tyres on second last stage? In front? Or Rear? In front; did they cause some slightly more understeering (it was also a slight lift just before)?

Third; a small gap in the armco-barrier just after he touched it made the outcome much worse ripping off the front left suspension.

This is not excuses, only a way to understand if here were things contributing to the outcome...

Midsummer and end of July are very different times. It will be dark.
Never stop dreaming because one day it might happen.

That’s why I said in the Autumn, like the fantastic edition we had in 2021.
