Some may think its dull but dry tarmac is a proper test of speed, skill, bravery and concentration.

And as Solberg showed, it's not easy to do this flat-out driving where there's no margin for error.

If you dont like it, dont watch it and wait for the next rally.

You cant assume that. Maybe they all realised how tough it was and kept within their limits as the risks were too high.

A true rally should be one journey and you should finish it with the same parts as you left, excepting direct replacement and repair.

So far for some maybe it is but chuck some bad weather and punctures into the mix and the whole thing could change. Better consistent road surfaces than the lottery and shite on the roads of Croatia. Having driven the Gran Canaria roads and watched the event when it was part of the ERC, IMO its far from boring but each to their own.

I'm more interested in the WRC 2 battle and its illuminating to see that the local Canary Islands championship leaders Lucky and Enrique Cruz are quite a bit off the regulars just goes to show how strong the pace is at the top of the championship

I should add that it is more interesting to watch this rally "in real" than on TV. And with the second sentence - dont forget that Lucky and Enrique Cruz has never drove Hankook before...
