The hints were they are discussing of staying. I think they are waiting promoter, just like everyone else.

I've been hearing this story of Hyundai leaving for like the last 6 years and they're still there.

A lot of people take their wishes for granted.

No it’s just it would be nice getting some clarity like we got last June when they said they were in for 2026, some people just like assurance.

It's the whole WRC world like that. Nothing is clear until it's clear, while in other sports there are rumours, articles, interviews, official statements and all that way before it will actually happen. Here everything is wrapped in secrecy until the season is over and even that isn't clear. So it's not just Hyundai, everything is and it's annoying. All we can rely on are rumours which sadly isn't official news. Sadly right now are dark times for WRC and I still have fingers crossed it will change when new ''investor'' for promoter will be announced (IF). I think they are on 50:50 for staying or leaving and are waiting what we are all waiting. If someone will actually be there to step up and show what WRC will be in future.

Guys, also one question does pop in my head... What if this new ''investor'' isn't or will not be pleased with new WRC27 rules and will push to change everything? Does he or it have the rights or the word in making/shaping the whole WRC championship or is it exclusively FIA responsible for that.

If it is just a new investor (not a new Promoter) that means they wont be changing anything except financial matters. And yes, the FIA has to decide and approve the Regs.

Neuville has become quite ciritical over time:
    https://www.rallye-magazin.de/wrc/ar...lassige-leute/

"You can't compare today's Hyundai team with the one from two years ago or even before. The infrastructure isn't the same, and there's a constant turnover of people. We drivers have to explain the car to the new engineers. Basically, we start from scratch every three weeks. This isn't just getting me down, but others as well. The whole thing is made even more difficult by the extremely restrictive regulations," the Belgian explained.

You cant blame him if what he said is true !

"Currently, we have about ten open positions. But without any future prospects, we're mostly attracting second-rate people who just need a job, not qualified specialists who can help us move forward."

Sadly, it seems hyundai won't continue if that's how they run the team these days.

Does anyone here know if Hyundai will be rocking a special livery this weekend for Craig Breen?
