The problem is that kids aren't into rallying anymore and the manufacturers, with all these changes and electric propulsion, have allocated enormous resources and aren't investing as much in racing.

weren't they supposed to have metal wheel arches this year? To prevent everything else breaking when they drive on a flat tyre?
