Armstrong was faster than Neuville and Fourmaux on the splits. Seems to have lost the intercom now though.

More like driving rally2 with good speed and amount of rallies before big car is the key
McErlean or Munster hasn't really done too good with rally2..

Unfortunately for Josh McErlean (and to some extent Greg Munster), this doesn't flatter him. Armstrong's pace in only his second Rally1 event may lead to a serious inquisition at Motorsport Ireland.

armstrong has done 22 rallies in a rc2 or r5 car, munster has done 59, mclearlean 51.

experience counts a lot, but if you don't have the talent you can't make it work.

I never understood why Motorsport Ireland chose McErlean for the Rally1 opportunity last year. He's never impressed much previously and there are other Irish talents.

Dont know what Solberg is talking about with his tyres, but even the Hyundai's are faster on this one.

Or maybe its still the cleaning.

Sometimes it is hard to understand rally.tv choises. Why on this penultimate stage they don’t show the WRC2 cars? Next stage still over 30mins away, day ending (no rush to get the tv crew to next place) etc.
