Gianandrea Pisani has officially revealed he won't run the 2026 ERC 2WD with Lancia!!!!

He prefers to stay commited to his own team Lion Team and hasn't talked about his 2026 program yet...

Strange decision. But of course we dont know what was exact conditions of the project...

yes, regulations states the prize will pass to the next in standings. next one is pesavento

lancia's sport director franzetti told lancia is to pay 6 races + 6 pet, all tires.(value: 150k) not included: driver expenses (travel, hotel), championship and round entry fee, part of the car's insurarance (deductible). main problem probably has been money from driver side, lancia then proposed to shorten to 5 races, pisani couldn't make it as well. (also lancia agreed to have private spoonsors on car)

By the way: Sebastian Dallapiccola(winner of the italian Suzuki Swift Cup)will run the Junior ERC with a Lancia this season
