    The conditions have counted against Paddon. A dry rally and he'd have done much better.

    I'm not sure about that. Paddon just has no experience here. He basically has driven here once, 10 years ago. In 2017 he did the recce, but had a fatal accident on the first stage and retired.

    Even in the dry he would have had a tough time.

    To be honest he was hindered a lot by his road position yesterday and today morning

    I think Paddon is not doing great but not actually terrible either. He's seventh, and if Neuville/Fourmaux went out he'd be 6th, which is ok for a third driver in a second rate team in his first drive in the car.
