Yes for the last year Solberg has (finally) been reliable. The year before he still had too many punctures, even with few crashes.
If he keeps the reliability in Rally1 it will be interesting.
And yeah every single driver that has driven the Rally1 Toyota has been fast with it. Not like Hyundai where struggling is the norm.

So the Toyota trophy is on. Early days but I have no words for the Hyundai team. M-Sport is painful but not their fault. No Kalle or Ott. Long season ahead. And not in a good way.

The profile of SS2. Another 1 hour and 10 minutes to wait...it's going to be a long wait!
Unlike the version used for the 84th Monte Carlo Rally in 2016, the stage starts 3 kilometers earlier, in Esclangon. The first challenge is the passage through the Clues de Barles before continuing along a narrow but relatively fast section to Auzet. As the altitude increases, the climb to the Col du Fanget (1459m) is expected to be icy or even snowy, on a road surface that becomes increasingly difficult to navigate. Finally, a change of scenery with the descent towards Seyne-les-Alpes, a fast-paced section punctuated by some great hairpin bends for a spectacular show…

I didn't expect much from M-Sport, but right now the star of the show is Armstrong. That really shows that the only way of polishing the talent is through ranks and not by money. Also very surprised with Solberg, I really didn't see him coming so high so early, especially on Monte. Evans, stunning drive, but he is always like that. Start is good but then he is mentally destroyed by Ogier later and always lose against him. Hyundai again no surprise, it's not like that they changed so much things in the team and suddenly they would be up there. Their Rally1 hybridless car is a total junk. Also it doesn't help that Toyota upgraded their car not long ago, but it seems that if they wouldn't do that at all, it would still beat both other teams.
I'm just dissapointed again with live crew. it would be better for everyone if there would be only radio and few stages shown live. They just don't understand that we, the hardcore fans need to see action and not random stuff and the same corners all over again, while the real action does happen out of our reach. Oh and also those gaps are too big and I honestly think that stages are way too long.
