"It's been an extremely chaotic start for us," Thierry Neuville told RTBF's special correspondent at Monte Carlo, Olivier Gaspard. "We broke a transmission a few hundred meters after the start, and while trying to make it to the finish line slowly, a chain of events led to the loss of the front right wheel. This sent me into the ditch. We managed to get out of the stage, but it wasn't the start we wanted. With the transmission failure, the wheel locked up, and that broke the suspension, which sent us off the road."
"I admit it's very difficult to predict our performance level at this Monte Carlo Rally," continued the 2024 World Champion. "We worked hard, we did the best we could in such a short time and with the joker we still had available, but I'm still struggling to find the confidence I need to say I'm 100% comfortable with the car. But on a rally like this, you have to start slowly and gradually increase the speed. I'm always happy to be at the start of Monte Carlo and just as excited to start a new season. It's a clean slate and we have a score to settle; I hope we'll be able to bounce back."

This is where you can see actual weather radar for rally region. It shows precipitation, but does not show type - not possible to tell, what is rain and what is snow. - - - - https://meteologix.com/lv/radar-hd/p...ur#play-0-12-5
