Crystal ball predictions 2026
Looks like EstWRC is taking a year out to spend more time with family so if nobody minds I will start this thread.
5 predictions per person (please exercise some self-discipline in sticking to just 5)
Predictions need to be specific/measurable
Award for most of 5 predictions correct
Honour for the most extreme prediction that turns out to be correct
Maybe rule out manufacturer champions (or add to WDC/WCC) (boring!)
Deadline is 21st January, the last day to put predictions is the day before Monte starts.

1. Champions - Ogier, Landais and Toyota
2. Extreme heat in Greece cancels stages
3. Ogier retires after the season
4. Paddon has more points-per-round than Lappi or Sordo
5. 1 new WRC27 constructor announces for 2027 (not Toyota or Project Rally One)

1. Taka will not get his first win
2. Armstrong will finish ahead of Josh (standings)
3. Lancia driver to win WRC2 title
4. New Promoter is going to be european, not american
5. ERC is going to have 6 different winners

1. Evans finally wins WDC!
2. Neuville and Ogier both say "'27 cars are slow and both retire";
3. Sesks gets 1 or more podiums
4. McErlean gets 1 podium
5. 2 new Tuners (in addition to Project One) announce of building '27 regulation cars.

3. Petter Solberg annonces new car for WRC27 regs
4. Chinese manufacturer announces a lower spec car for WRC. Possible R4 or R3
5. Paddon to podium at least once

1 Evans becomes WDC
2 Toyota WMC
3 MSport only manage a couple of top 6 finishes with no podiums
4 New promoter appointed however they fail to change anything other than the price of WRC TV
5 At least one "traditional" European rally will be dropped for a high paying Far East round in 27

Kalle is now in a different sport, so likely completely different budgets and relationship with Red Bull. I don't think we'll see the Bull on Fords....
