It is passport produced by FIA for each Rally2 car (also for WRC cars, I think offroad cars has it too etc.). It is passport which is mandatory for all WRC and ERC events and is unique for each car (which must have on bodyshell sticker with same number). Into this passport are noted all starts on WRC/ERC events and always there is also written exact specification of car (which jokers are used) and also software version.

No info about Jokers anymore, they stopped filling this in 2024.
Now also Gold Pass for Rally3/4/5 (and maybe 6), but only digital version. And only for newly produced/homologated cars, no retro-fitting.

Rich Millener said on the DF podcast that the Rally2 Fiesta is getting another upgrade. He sees it as still competitive for 2026.

Romet Jürgenson was testing the upgraded car at Greystoke.

The latest evolution of the Fiesta Rally2 features a range of performance and reliability enhancements, including engine and electrical updates, revised suspension geometry, improved cockpit cooling, a new rear brake cooling kit, and a lightweight components package. Initial production of the upgrade components has been allocated to new car sales, with a limited first batch of upgrade kits subsequently made available to existing Fiesta Rally2 customers for pre-order, ahead of April delivery.

The newly upgraded Ford Fiesta Rally2 has been homologated by M-Sport, with a strong focus on extracting more power from its 1.6-liter engine.

The extensive update package leverages over half a dozen homologation jokers in one go, addressing component weight, suspension geometry, brake and cockpit cooling and electrical updates in addition to the engine upgrades.

But changing the injectors, pistons and exhaust camshafts in the engine is where M-Sport’s customer program manager James Allinson expects to see the biggest step forward in performance from the revised Fiesta Rally2.

“Without speaking too confidently, I think that’s where we’re going to see the big gains,” Allinson told DirtFish.

Yohan Bonato has switched to the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 for the 2026 French Championship. Maybe some ERC Rounds too.
