My memory is not the best anymore, but I remember some issues, one retirement was due to the broken drive shaft and there were several smaller issues for him and for Tuukka. But in general, nothing super-bad, but several small things that are quite normal for new car and summed up with new car speed, it didn't allow to collect too many points.

I won't say anything about reliability but just put out some statistics.

He has had 9 starts with Ypsilon this year of which he retired on 3 of them because of car issues: two with a broken driveshaft (Elba and Rjad Polski), Electrical issue (Rally Valli della Carnia)

Hyundai is competing for 14-15 years already, but STILL have big reliability issues (oh man, those wipers). Lancia is present again for less than half a year and having some things isn't making them automaticaly unreliable car. We will see it when they will hit some serious milestones

And wipers aren't exactly new or complex technology. How many times have you had the wipers or your road car fail? How many times does the window fog up and can can't be cleared by the blower?
These are just engineering fails when building very simple basic things.

How can we expect them to get anything complex right when they can't even get the basics.

Usually issues when weight is tried to save everywhere. Has a distinct Loriaux mark on those

The story is that Neuville's heavy crash in CER had an affect on his car in Japan.

The parts from the CER car were fitted to a new chassis for Japan (as the events are linked), but they'd still had the impact from the crash.

I dont remember much more issues than others. Broken driveshaft is quite usual problem for Rally4 cars when you are pushing and everybody (winner Carlberg included) at least once retired because of driveshaft. Main problem for Tuukka were punctures, he had puncture almost on every race and usually not only one...
