Pajari's year has not been what I expected. Sure, - easy for me to say that from my couch, but I havent felt any glimpse of those "sparks" I (and some of us probably) were expecting. Thoughts?

Another clue from Tanak about the future ?
Commenting on the Hyundai car:
"It’s the way it is at the moment and between Central Europe and this one it’s been difficult to do much difference as we have no testing and difficult to prepare only with the shakedown. But it’s more about next year, to be ready for next year.”

Let’s just wait for the official Toyota announcement on Monday and then all is clear.
He says so many different things to different journalists

There has never, ever been any kind of credible sign that Tanak is really going to Toyota.
For sure Toyota don't want him, and haven't tried to hire him because he is a poor team mate / team player.
Even the Hyundai team / staff don't really want him around because of the way he treats people, and they still resent him for throwing away the manufacturers championship last year, and cost them all their winning bonus.....
But he's the best option for Hyundai compared to others.
It's just that Tanak will have to accept a pay-cut because he has nowhere else to go and no leverage to negotiate.

Didn't know mr Lindströms are here in forum.. exactly know what or who Toyota wants
(Tell Colin Clark how things are and they can stop writinf articles
)
Whole Toyota isn't teamplayer if you think how many times they have let other drivers fight against Evans and take points away..
Tanak was told to let Ogier go for wdc(in Ford) and was asked not to fight Neuville in Greece when he still had possibility for title some years ago.. but he isn't teamplayer lol
It is rally and they are world's top drivers, who fihjt for the only important thing - title. If you want teamsport, play volleyball or go cycling to bring sandwiches and water to teammates..
Have you forgotten that Hyundai had problems with differential homologation(faulty documentation)?
If Tanak hadn't crashed, I believe they had been dsq, not only fined..
Quite sure Toyota would have protested.

Yeah this “not being a team player” is such a BS
And how he treats the team then? Says something bad to them or slaps them or what is it? Would like to know

It has been so the last three years but the difference this time is that Japan isn’t the last rally. Makes sense to announce as they all are there
