No, Marczyk has no technical issues. In one of the interviews he said that he expected much more dirty roads and made his pace notes with such approach in his mind. But that doesn't explain why he was so slow in the second loop.

Heavy rain. But, I think we've heard that before, including in Croatia, and had it mostly dry.

Not only according to ewrc-results. It was clear for a long time it will be raining on Sunday. It was raining for whole night, so completely different conditions than yesterday...
