WRC Secto Rally Finland 2025

tbf, FIA itself and big event promoters are losing the opportunity of creating a "world rally sprint championship" doing something like that. one stage, everybody (fans) on the same place to watch. but make it 4 runs, two in each direction. sum up the times and thats it.
add a gymkahana style (with eliminations) competition on saturday night, under the lights, in the middle of the city to determine the road position for sunday.
i dont see how a world rally sprint series would not help to bring new eyes into the wrc. not all of them, for sure, but some would, no doubt on that

Nobody is going to travel the world to do one stage repeated 4 times. Rallysprints work at national levels. You'd be very lucky if a concept like that works on a European level, no chance for the world.

Fantastic rally as usual but some things could be done better.

The schedule is not reasonable with such a long time between stages second loop. Why not do as in the Royal Rally of Scandinavia where you drive 2 stages x2 and then move on to the next 2 and so on?

I'm also not a fan of just 1 stage x2 on Sunday when everyone gathers in the same place.

Rather shorter stages but several.
