    How many people actually buy tickets for these events? I imagine a number of locals do need to buy tickets. I only say this because, 81k spectators for Rally Finland sounds very low.

    Yeah and with the digital tickets it's quite easy to not buy one, because nobody will go around and check your phone once you're into a stage.
    Finland this year felt like a lot of people to me at least, and i mostly walk the forest to most spots even

    Don't forget that if one person buys a pass for the full rally, that's one ticket. If that person goes to watch 5 stages that's 5 spectators.
