I don't know how clear the cause is, Fourmaux said there was nothing, Neuville said it could have been a stone on the line but didn't even feel any impact. Kalle said he was surprised that the 2 Hyundai got punctures, because he saw nothing that could cause one on the stage.

It can be all down to setup, tyre pressure and etc

In case of Tänak the Estonian commentators had a good point that the speeds went so crazy on second pass of ouninpohja that it could have been too much to handle for the tyre. Plus all the landings from the crests on one side of the car and other side of the car in the wheels

It could be sheer bad luck. But if not there may be serious questions to answer for Hankook for the first time this season.

Durability has been their strength so the punctures (rather than the tyre coming off the rim) are a surprise on smooth roads. Delamination is also unacceptable on the second stage of a day.

Strange rally in some ways, many guys drove very well and didn’t get what they deserved.
Rovanpera was great, found the gravel speed and showed us his normal self, pleased he finally got his Finland win.
Katsuta, good job, fast and no errors.
Ogier is Ogier. He’s still fast and relentless.
Evans, excellent performance. Looked like he enjoyed it as well.
Pajari, a bit underwhelming although he set a few scratch times. Might be harsh as he looks like he is driving under instruction.
    Neuville, great drive, bad luck.
    Fourmaux, great drive, bad luck.
Tanak, road position put him under pressure and then he crashed. I’m sure some of his stages were good even if the times don’t show it, but not his best performance.
Sesks, pretty good considering his lack of experience here and super unlucky with the windscreen.
McErlean, pretty solid. I think he’s showed us already he has a higher potential than Munster
Munster, nice guy, but just not quick enough at this level.

    Lol

The Driver of Car No. 17 usedinappropriate language during the post event “Meet the Crews” session at podium.
Decision: To impose a warning on the Driver SÉBASTIEN OGIER.

Reason: ....... in which he stated:
“remembering one year ago the shit feeling all we had.”
