I don't know how clear the cause is, Fourmaux said there was nothing, Neuville said it could have been a stone on the line but didn't even feel any impact. Kalle said he was surprised that the 2 Hyundai got punctures, because he saw nothing that could cause one on the stage.

It can be all down to setup, tyre pressure and etc
In case of Tänak the Estonian commentators had a good point that the speeds went so crazy on second pass of ouninpohja that it could have been too much to handle for the tyre. Plus all the landings from the crests on one side of the car and other side of the car in the wheels

It could be sheer bad luck. But if not there may be serious questions to answer for Hankook for the first time this season.
Durability has been their strength so the punctures (rather than the tyre coming off the rim) are a surprise on smooth roads. Delamination is also unacceptable on the second stage of a day.
