Virves seems to lost some pace compared to yesterday. Latvala and Korhonen are clearly faster today, Linnamäe as well.

FIA Rally officials could learn from even the US/ Mexican etc desert racers. The road side 'pit stop' service crews often put a road cone on the desert race truck, buggy bonnet while the vehicle is stopped & serviced/ refueled and race vehicle crew change-overs in long races. The driver only moves off after a service crew member removes the road cone.

Completely makes sense. It is complicated for a driver to have an overview of what is going on around the car, especially when someone is checking tires or are low for any other reason. This is already by default. Let's add to the list a really muddy car and missing mirrors; it is an impossible task.

I'm not sure how it works at the moment, based on some hand signals and those were ignored by Tänak?

I think they did not find a good/safe spot to stay, and if you can not see out at all, it makes finding one more complicated.
