Ott hit an official - aggressive driving is for the stage, not the stop control/road section.

This kind of behaviour has to be penalised heavily as otherwise it becomes normalised.

Any other driver would be penalised in the same way for the same behaviour.
From Estonian press: one tyre person stepped off the car, Ott thought thats it, but another tyre controller just stepped in and got hit. Seems pretty mess, cannot blame Ott here but popintless behaviour of officials.

Finns just "love" Ott. They tend to beat him up in press in every occasion.

    Agree.

I agree there should be a penalty but a fine or something like that not a penalty that messes up the result for the driver which seems an unlucky moment from Tänak and the marshal. It wasn’t like he did it on purpose

Pretty good time for Ott, considering the situation

Tänak potentially walking away from Rally Finland with zero points three years in a row after delivering arguably the greatest single-rally performance of all time at this event is genuinely incredible stuff.

Fitting metaphor for his post-2019 career as well.

This stage already shows how much Tänak suffered yesterday with cleaning in the morning and cleaning the ruts in the evening

The stages today are of course with different profile and with hard base compared to yesterday

Too soon to bury him. So far second stage time.

Edit, fifth time probably, but still.
