It's got like 200k views on youtube, so whether you like Dirtfish or not they try hard to promote rallying unlike Autosport - which is basically just an F1 rag.
I'm no fan of Autosport, and haven't subscribed for about 20 years.....However, if rallying as a whole (not just WRC) was in better health, then I'm sure they'd give it more recognition. Go and look at the rallying forum on the Autosport forum.....350 posts all year....

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

Club Dirtfish from £8.00 per month.

Anyone think they'll sign up ? Seems a bit expensive to me.

Well, there's a lot more (and better) content included than that.

I quite enjoy Spin the Rally Pod(cast), plus the one with Adamo might be fun. The exclusive stuff from the likes of Tom Fowler and Rich Millener would be interesting too.

But I begrudge paying for stuff that's previously been free. And it would only encourage them plus be another part of rallying behind a paywall.

Well Mr Rimmer is obviously used to making money hence his amazing collection of rally cars!

Having grown up in an age where I used to wait for Motoring News to hit the mat every Wednesday to get my rallying news I understand that these days every minute needs to be filled. However its maybe just me and my relative lack of interest in the sport at the top level that I dont feel compelled to pay for any coverage and would rather just watch vids with some ads on YT and pick up snippets of info elsewhere. There must still be a market though with no shortage of Media tabards and commentators in evidence unless people are doing it for the love of the sport.

That's my issue - so much of the sport is hidden behind a paywall; it's really not helping. As previously said, the rallying threads on forums like Pistonheads, Autosport & TenTenths just don't get the interest.

    Ha - mere youth!
I'm old enough to remember when you had to wait until Thursday, before the advances in printing technology let them change to Wednesday and for the RAC Rally you only got the first couple of days of the event on the Thursday after the rally finished. You had to wait until the week after for the final results.
Like you, I'm also content to pick up the news from places like this and have no interest in paying a subscription for what often turns out to be content for content's sake with endless repetition of the same "non-stories".

I've noticed that the Dirtfish social media posts with links to the content on Club Dirtfish aren't getting many Likes.

Also they dropped their 'Live Centre' on the website after a few rallies, so that didnt attract many people

Hopefully this will also fail and they'll go back to free (or very cheap).

They're a business, so they can operate how they like.

It's up to the consumer if they want to buy.
